In modern times the haunted villa is inherited by Helen Ludovisi, the American niece of the owner. Helen and her boyfriend fly in from the States to restore Villa Clara. Before long the house's insidious secrets, ghosts and its mysterious caretaker, David, terrify all who enter its portals.
