40s PINK AND BLACK RAYON RHINESTONED COCKTAIL DRESS - XS WinterBeautiful twotone 40s cocktail dress in pink and black. The bodice is fitted and features sparkling rhinestones to the front and a high neck and short sleeve. Fitted waist with peplum style hip with darts to the sides seams and a scalloped edging. Small button fasten drape sash to the back. Generous black a line skirt which feels like a grosgrain taffeta. Midi length with a full sweep. Back metal zipper to fasten. No labels. Thin halter straps

Full skirt sewn in gathers with a generous midi length and lovely fullness

Lined in canvas cotton petticoat which is trimmed with a band of the matching cotton border trim

Good condition with some small signs of wear

Comes with a matching open cut short sleeve bolero jacket

but I would allow a little bit of room for movement to keep from putting to much strain on the seams as the wool weave is quite fine

Now this is what I call a dress fit for a queen
