2023 Berry Bros. & Rudd Chablis by Domaine Sébastien Dampt, BurgundyWeve worked once again with Sbastien Dampt for our Chablis. Made entirely without oak, it combines the classic, steely minerality of Chablis with the pleasingly ripe fruit of the 2023 vintage. The nose has notes of iodine and citrus fruit, while the palate is juicy and moreish with white peach, lime and oyster shell. This is the perfect partner for fresh seafood and goats cheese. A bit broody

The choice of Stephane Derenoncourt to manage the vineyard seems to have resulted in much lower yields and

opulent and creamy-textured with the spectacular Léoville-Las Cases signature deftly etched across it from nose to finish

holds the reins here and the family talent is much in evidence

but this has a length and intensity that takes it to an even higher level
