Stunning and decorative this bottle stopper is a heavy glass facet cut and is attached to a stainless steel and black rubber sealer

The sides of the bowl have larger depressed oval motifs displayed between a prism patterning (new century)

Hand painted with a brightly colourful variety of blooming flowers and a single golden yellow bee

but is otherwise in very good condition considering the age

In 1908 the firm expanded to the Vale Works in Longton and the Vale trade name began to be used. Later after the royal visit of King George IV and Queen Mary to the Vale Works Royal Vale was officially used.
