This is not an especially big Charmes but it’s deceptively structured as the mid-palate seems quite forward yet the finish tightens up substantially while still remaining impeccably well-balanced

Like the Gerbotte, the medium weight flavors are impressively dense with a succulent and opulent texture, all wrapped in a slightly austere, nicely dry and lingering finale. This is also a bit rustic, but I like the balance.
