Vega started making these around 1958 59 so this is one off the fairly early examples. These long neck banjos were modeled after the banjo Pete Seeger made for himself with three additional frets, allowing the player to place a capo on the 3rd fret and play at concert pitch, but then move the capo either up or down as needed. Their versatility was ideal for
