Cotton Crazy Quilt Top On Foundation Marie websterThis fun scrappy quilt top on a foundation is so full of great turn of the century fabrics. Many are earlier. Part of the Santa Fe Collection. Excellent condition with age toning and minor spots. Circa 1900. Unwashed . This is one that can be enjoyed the way its made. See the backside image, the foundation fabrics . The dimensions are 73x81 inches .

Upon very close study I found a few blocks with some minor surface wear and a few old looking repairs

They attribute the pattern to the relationship to Halley’s  Comet

I have given it a gentle first wash and it is fresh and great for any collection or one to have out and truly enjoy its detail

The dimensions are a generous 79x81 inches

Some rich blue  indigo fabrics were used in the making

The use of several blues and indigos give this a great blue and white look
