1911 / 1912 Lace Tea GownStraight from the wardrobe of the Mistress of Beautiful Things, Adle Mildred, this absolutely breathtaking lace tea gown dates to c. 1911 1912. This elegant piece of fashion history is made of crepe silk and crocheted lace and has 40 velvet covered buttons from the New York button machine company Defiance. This last detail leads me to believe that the gown is American made. While she is utterly magnificent, she is still 110 years old and it shows. She
