Description

Round Tower Kells-Textile ArtIrish Heritage Range Kells is another historical gem in Irelands Ancient East. Here you can see the Round Tower and the Unfinished East Cross which were part of the ancient monastery that once dominated the town. Each piece is made on cotton that is printed with my design and then stitched by machine and by hand. A layer of wadding is added to create a relief effect after stitching.

Carved by an unknown craftsman near her childhood home in Ireland’s Ancient East she's delighted to bring it to life

Each piece is created using batik techniques on cotton and then printed with my design and finally stitched by machine and hand embroidery

It is created in earthenware and you can light a candle inside

oak can often be found near ancient sites around Ireland and in the last remnants of our ancient oak forests that once covered the entire island

You can also use fabric markers to add extra detail

creating a unique design just for you
