A Good Victorian Cast Iron & Portasanta Brecchia Marble Topped Circular Occasional Table c.1870-80Origin: English Period: Late Victorian Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1870 80 Height: 31 Diameter of Top: 25 (with edging) The good quality veined Portasanta Brecchia marble top with a patterned cast iron edging, on a pierced Gothic influenced design cast iron pedestal of entwined foliage to a tiered circular base with gadrooning and three scrolling feet, survives from the middle period of Victorian England. The table is in very good overall condition;

beautifully worn

and most occurring in drawer five

whilst still offering the drawers to organise contents and it would have originally belonged to a patternmaker

This particular dial is very well worn and thus has enormous appeal in decorative terms

They will return to the same nest for their entire lives and if a stork should choose your house

The spoon of course is also a culinary symbol of old

good colour and healthy patina with some knocks and markings one would expect from a piece of this standing

Graduating Lengths: 8 inches

and is extremely sought after by motor racing enthusiasts

but unfortunately the rubberised tubing and pump have perished
