Tuscan China Royal Blue Saucer VanityThe Tuscan Works of Longton was in the Plant family until 1966 when RH & SL Plant ltd was taken over by Wedgwood. Following their acquisition by Wedgwood, Tuscan fine bone china was marketed as Royal Tuscan. Production continued at the Tuscan works until 2006, though the Royal Tuscan name was slowly phased out and the works concentrated on Wedgwood Hotelware. This item is a beautiful Royal blue patterned saucer adorned with floral bouquets and gold
The item is a contemporary beautifully decorated enamel kettle which can be used on all cooking sources including gas
Not visibly marked or stamped
The firm also used the trade names Montmartre
This item is a black wrought iron serviette holder / stand decorated in a intricate and detailed scroll design with four feet created from metal scroll
A faceted linear motif beneath depressed circular designs
aside from which the strainer and stand is still fully functional and usable
but is smooth to the touch
Designed in the distinct shape of a ginger jar and meticulously hand decorated with purple
this item is a superbly decorated lidded trinket bowl
They most probably originate from Sheffield England
Stamped underneath “Design Series"
Joseph and Wilson Keeling who in 1905 employed Charlotte Rhead as an enameller
