ET-12 Timber-framed end table - 1This is one of two matching "Sagamore" timber framed end tables. I would prefer to sell these as a matching pair; however, I will let them go individually. These end tables are made from quarter sawn white oak. Quarter sawing a log is labor intensive and expensive, but it produces "rays" or flecks in the grain that are very unique. Real mission furniture is made from quarter sawn white oak. They are handcrafted using traditional New England timber

The "Kill Kare" end table - The top is made from a slabbed spalted beech log

The root pedestal is precisely cut so that it contacts the floor flat at every area it makes contact

The tops measure 18 1/2" x 15" - they stand 29 1/2" floor to top and the legs are 2" wide (thick) on all sides

The carcass (case) is fully dove-tailed and the door joinery is through mortise and tenon (the Shakers were known for fine highly-visible joinery)
