The Merlin not only boasts an impressive field of view and close focusing but has excellent image quality. These bright and sharp images are achieved by using high quality, fully multi coated, ED lenses paired up with Phase and dielectric coated prisms. The body is made using magnesium making this binocular not only robust but lightweight too (525g).
