Description
Jean Chartron, Batard Montrachet other_regions(from a . 13 ha parcel on the Puligny side). Slightly riper aromas include those of both yellow and white peach, poached pear and a broad array of spice nuances, all of which is again trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is fine intensity to the larger scaled, if not especially dense, flavors that still flash ample power on the clean and dry finale that is sufficiently tightly wound to repay a decade, perhaps even a bit longer, of aging.
the wine is maturing
the Zýmè 2011 Harlequin is a supersized wine that lays out blockbuster flavors
the 2005 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvee Etienne Gonnet comes mostly from the La Crau lieu-dit and was aged 18 months in 1-year-old barrels
lychee and citrus
delicious and velvet-textured middle weight plus flavors manage to retain a lovely sense of both detail and energy
Hints of lemon stems
With classic finesse and dried forest strawberry on the long
exceptionally silky and alive
it finishes long and not at all cloying
This is a wine coming into its own with plenty more energy still
Lots there with quite a bit of toast
Raspberry and jammy fruits
