Pirate Skull Mug- Bermuda GreenThis listing is for one mug. This mug was handmade on the potter's wheel by Lindsey from stoneware clay. A pirate skull was hand painted on the mug while the clay was in a "leather hard" stage in the new stein shaped mug. After the initial bisque firing it was glaze fired with a Bermuda Green glaze and white on the inside and flowing over the outside of the mug. The rest of the mug is a creamy buff color to highlight the design. 5. 25" tall x 4" wide

The glaze is my Seafoam green color with a textured white breaking over the edges

The honey colored zinc crystals cover the surface of the piece along a softer golden background

there is a deeper color with the accumulation of glaze & crystals

Dahlia 'Camano Mordor' is a tightly packed ball type with stunning red-raspberry flower with yellow centers

It is in this moment where the magic happens and the colors change leaving silver and black lines on the piece as carbon gets trapped on the surface as the glaze cools
