Aisling Tale of The Oak Whisky 700ml 47%This Single Malt Whisky Tale of the Oak is our 2nd Edition to the Royalty Edition this is where two become one. The Queens path meets the Kings Journey. Just as the tale behind the Release. Casks were laid down from November 2016. It has been aged in 3 x 225 litre, uncharred casks. In 1998 they had Semillon Botrytis aging for a few years and then were finished with Tawny for 10 years. Consists of Cask Number 63,64 & 65. Decanted in April 2021 at 47%

The fruit is sourced from estate grown low yielding Shiraz (1654 clone) vines from Block1A that were planted in 1995

which is what makes The Exile PoitiÃ‚Ân such a smooth and complex dram - perfect on its own

Laid down in oak barrels for at least five years

rum and allspice married together with aged oloroso

Traditional juniper berries are balanced with the tasting notes of the native lemon myrtle

we leave it to rest on handpicked autumn wild sloe berries

rather than dominated by the casks previous contents
