Antique Alsace Kelsch Bedcover Navy Blue Check Fabric quilts Kantha quilts and throws areThis antique bedcover comes from the Alsace region of France, the weave is know as 'kelsch', it is woven from linen. The front of the textile is a traditional check design and the back is a plain natural rustic linen. Both sides are in excellent unused condition. Cover size : 1. 5m wide (59inches ) x 1. 56m long (61inches). The cover is open at one end and closes with ties. The initials AM have been embroidered on the back of the cover. Originally
